I've never seen or heard of these dolls before. It's not only weird, but just really messed up. Why would anyone want something that portrays little kids being punished as decoration in their home?

I grew up in South Pasadena. Suicide Bridge was always a favorite site, it's a gorgeous piece of work. There are walking trails connected to the Arroyo Seco that pass directly beneath it and further up those paths lies Devils Gate Dam, another somewhat creepy spot.

I saw these sort of dolls in a house that I was doing maintenance work at in the mid 1980’s. The couple that lived there were creepy too.

My mother bought a Time out doll when she lived in Florida. When her and my dad moved back to Massachusetts, the doll went with them. My mother still has it, it's a little girl with a baseball cap and it's in her apartment. She placed it at the end of the couch where I sleep when I stay overnight. It creeps me out that it's so close to me I always fear that when I wake up in the morning that it will be missing or in a different place. Luckily that never happened but it will always creep me out when I sleep over. I told her to move it to another area but she likes it where it is. I try not to think about it but it's not easy. My Grandmother had LOTS of large child sized dolls but not once did she ever have them in "Time out". But she did have them in closets, and they would scare crap outta you if you weren't expecting them. but she had them for her many grand daughters who would come to visit.
