Again much appreciated video by Sir. Numan. Almost 10 minutes video has covered very well the concept of developing critical path method in easy way with 6 steps. Delivery of words by Sir. Numan is extremely understandable and at pace. I would recommend this video to all project management students at beginner  level so they can understand one of important topic of project management.

Through this videoclip after watching and I have realised that in this videoclip is very important for the critical path method is and it defined in the project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) as follows: ... The critical path method is describe the sequence that takes the most time in the project..

For example if I am builder and I made a house then I have several task sequences to follows it.. Each task takes a different amount of time and resources..

which I've understood after watching this video that is   is the sequence of dependent tasks that form the longest duration, allowing you to determine the most efficient timeline possible to complete a project. The continuous string(s) of  activities in the schedule between the Start and Finish of the project.

This video describes In this video, about realtio between critical path method and how to do critical path calculation CPM and EVM are both essential part of Project management.CPM is used to eliminate the longest path to complete a project and also the minimum time required for the completion of that project. In video it is clearly defined that critical path has six steps to calculate.Earliest start time (ES) this is simply the earliest time that a task can be started in your project. Earliest finish time (EF) the earliest an activity can be completed, based on its duration and its earliest start time.Latest start time (LS) this is the very last minute in which you can start a task before it threatens to upset your project schedule.Latest finish time (LF) the latest an activity can be completed based on its duration and its latest start time.Float. Also known as slack, float is a term that describes how long you can delay a task before it impacts the planned schedule and threatens the project’s deadline

On the other hand EVM calculated the different phase of project that, IF SV=0 then the project is according to schedule. IF S>0 then project is according to schedule, IF SV>0, then project ahead of schedule and when PV<0, then project is behind the schedule, and if project is behind the schedule we should focus on our critical path method

As per my understanding about this Critical Path Method I am not clear about step no 03 (forward pass) and step 4 (backsword pass).
1.
On the forward pass activity E after two activities completed then early start time present in the activity E. After activity B early finished time is 13 and after activity C early finished time is 11, so why we select the number 13 for early start of Activity E. And the same question about Activity completed after D, E and F (22, 19 and 14) the activity G early start is 22 ....why?
2.
On the backsword pass activity completed D and E the number/unit 13 and 16 but the activity B late finished selected 13 and the same in the activities E and F the number/unit 16 and 19 but the activity C late finished selected lowest number 16...why?

AOA this video clip is describing reliable method to complete our project activities... Calculating the project duration weather it take longest path or shortest duration

Project planning method that focuses on identifying tasks that are dependent on other tasks for their timely completion.

Critical path method: calculating the project duration..whether it takes the longest path or shortest duration..
Step 1 : Converting activities in node format..
Step 2:constructing nerwork diagrams.. (once we know activities name and duration and information regarding activities predecessor and successors..
Step 3: calculating forward pass: it is used
To calculate early start and early finish of an activity..
Step 4:calculating backward pass: it is used to calculate late start and late finish..
Step 5: calculating total float: total float is
The maximum amount of time an activity can be delayed from its early start without delaying the project
Step 6: calculating critical path..
