I was Baptized and received into the Orthodox Church by Chrismation on St. Lazarus Saturday of Holy Week in 2022. My Greek Orthodox Priest was a little taken aback when I told that I had chosen the Baptismal name of Seraphim after St. Seraphim of Sarov!

This story makes no sense from the Eastern Orthodox perspective as it claims that the church is not divided and that there exists no salvation outside of its church. Unless you genuinely believe that Francis of Asisi was crypto-orthodox, there’s no reason for an Orthodox layman to believe the credibility of the story as it is presented.

Crazy because there's a story of a Protestant woman who had a vision of St. Seraphim. With him was a person with a funny haircut who was wearing a brown robe. St. Seraphim said, "The true Church you seek is found by everyone who seeks it. Keep your eyes open for the man next to me." Later on there was a man who did some work at the lady's house. He had a small statue of St. Francis. She asked the man about the statue and he told her about St. Francis and the true church, the Catholic Church.

I think it was a vision of Saint Francis and Saint Seraphim saying that the True Church is Catholic and Orthodox, , where He (Jesus) is!! A beautiful vision!!!

I also found the Orthodox church through a vision. The vision was the church I now attend, and I have been going for 2 months now. It's amazing that this family had a similar experience and I am 100% in agreement that Orthodoxy is the true church.

St Seraphim of Sarov is actually venerated in the Catholic church (eastern catholics) so what you have there is two catholic saints

The problem is that we forget that the Kingdom of Heaven doesn’t accommodate to our Laws and Understanding but the Law and Understanding of God’s Grace.

I’ll just say this:

_some Christian denominations can be false.. Who knows? The teachings or it’s ideas?_

_But.. We all agree that Jesus _*_was the Son of God, The God in flesh, Jesus was the most prophesied messiah and sacrificed for our sins.. and Raised From Death._*

_Not every Christians believe in that.. Fun fact: Some denominations says that Jesus wasn’t God but like a teacher.. Some Denominations says that there are “Two” gods, Jesus and the Father_

*Remember, “I and the father are one” and all those animal sacrifices were Foreshadowing the Death of Jesus…*

The true Church is the one founded by Jesus and Peter was his chosen successor. Peace be with you brother. I pray we can heal the divides among Christians and return to global Christian unity as Christ envisioned.
