Taylor Swift has stayed out of this election cycle so far. Yet, that hasn’t stopped the Swifties from trying to mobilize for Kamala on her behalf, and in turn, Swifties for Trump have taken off.

I like the fact that her message is to vote. She's not saying who you should vote for or trying to convince you of a certain position you support, she just want's you to go out and do your part and vote. That's the most positive message a celebrity can throw out there as it's bipartisan.

In 2019-2020, Taylor was publicly criticizing Trump, releasing singles about gay rights and feminism, endorsing Biden, extremely concerned with PR etc. Since then, she's been silent on politics despite pressure from her fans to speak up (particularly about Gaza and Roe v Wade), she dated Matty Healy who is controversial at least in the eyes of her fans. And not only did she continue dating him, but she openly criticized her own fans for complaining about it, with the lyrics "I'd rather burn my whole life down than listen to one more second of all your bitching and moaning" and calling them "judgemental creeps". Now she's heavily hanging out with republicans... I still think the most likely option is that she endorses Kamala, but its not as certain as it used to be.

As someone who loves Taylor and her music, I think it’s absolutely insane people are trying to force her to speak out. She has even said that she’s not posting to keep herself and others safe. That’s part of her cancelling the Vienna shows.

I still don't get, how people think, if they don't vote blue we will lose democracy. Trump was president for 4 years and the U.S. economy was doing great, no new wars, and democracy was still there.
