He doesn’t just play the guitar; he makes love to it. The guy has so much charisma and shows this talent to anybody willing to listen. Truly a guitar god and will live on to infinity dialled in to a universal future. I feel his passion to reach out and it becomes more than just the music. So much more. GBG NO EDITS.

I can't get over how when he talks he sounds a lot like Frank Zappa, but that's no surprise considering the time he spent touring as part of Zappa's band. Some of his arrangements sound like Zappa too.

席に座って食事しながら、この演奏を見れるなんてなんて贅沢。
しかも会場も狭くて、かなり近くで見れるようだし…

まるで想定してた演奏のように自然に乗り切ってる…

Steve was my main rock guitar mentor ultimately, I kind of became disinterested in most of my "rock" guitar mentors over the years, because they seemed to not create the masterpieces they once did in their early years( my opinion), they became sounding to me, too traditional, too much blues based, cliche, etc...especially in terms of songwriting.I don't really resonate with Steve's later material, only a few choice songs, Steve is still my favorite guitarist in any genre, because he's created some beautiful music, but what impresses me the most nowadays, Is how much finesse and control he has on the guitar, watching this video( live, mind you), literally made tears come to my eyes, I cannot fully express on words, The chills, emotions that I'm resonating with in his playing, I doubt I'll ever hear another guitarist in my life as good as him🙏

I have never had the privilege of seeing him live but this video reminds me of why I must do it soon!

01:02:00 definely not salamanders. It's a part from the Fire Garden Suite, a version that they change a bit since "Where the wild things are". THen 01:03:43 it's Salamanders in the Sun
