RetroBat Complete Build - Everything you need! (Games, Emulators, Themes, Artwork) - Part 17

RetroBat is a great, free application that can turn your Windows computer into a retro gaming entertainment system. Simply download and install then play pretty much every console, computer or arcade system that you can think of. This install is a self contained to a single folder, so you can even run it from a USB stick and take it with you.

In this series of videos I'm going to guide you through how to create a complete build! That includes games, emulators, themes, artwork etc. basically everything you need to create an amazing RetroBat build.

Actually Xbox ROMs need to be in the XISO format. At least if you're using the XEMU emulator. What's strange is that even after you convert the ISO files to XISO (or download them that way directly) the extension will still appear with the ISO extension. Which makes zero sense to me since it makes it difficult to determine for sure what you have.

This was a sticking point for me for a little while. The games would appear in the Xbox category and I could scrape artwork and video snaps for them. However when I tried to launch a game I would get the Xbox logo that normally appears at launch but then I would get the message "please insert an Xbox disc".

There is a collection on the internet archive that specifically states that the ROM's are already in the XISO format which is quite convenient.
