I found an equation that can help when *finding the length of standing waves :*

- For *fixed at both ends* and *open at both ends*, you can use *L=nλ/2* where *n* is equal to *the number of harmonics*

- For *open at one end, closed at the other end*, you can use
*L=((n-1)+n)λ/4*

Isn't it wrong at 7:00? The picture says second and third harmonic, but what is drawn is a 3rd and 5th harmonic, right? For one open end and one closed end, they are a 3rd and 5th it says in our textbook. Is there a reason it is different here?

u are wrong about the harmonics for the standing waves with one open end only: there should be no 2nd or even harmonic, ur 2nd harmonic is actually to be the 3rd harmonic. Slight mistake, byt love ur vids!!
