I don’t know if this is just me, but I really liked how at the start of the mission, before you open the door, you can see the elite zealot behind the glass window. They even do a little cutscene where when the door opens, he walks out. But when you actually get back to the door, he’s mysteriously gone. The whole time I was clearing the level after that, I kept wondering where the hell he was, then BOOM, mini jump scare. I am just a fan of that kind of micro story telling / level design.

The AI in this game always amazed me. It's like they think and figure things out. No other game to this day feels like that. Especially when you play on legendary.
