The elites saying shut up to the jackals after 1 sentence but not to the grunts after 40 essays really shows how much the grunt rebellion impacted everyone. Also its just middle child and youngest child favoritism.

I still fondly remember from Halo: Combat Evolved, when you hit a grunt with a plasma grenade:
"Oh no, not again!"

Wow, they really went all out for the enemy idle dialogue. It reminds me a lot of the line from the Halo Wars units. They really gave the Banished a lot of personality with the dialogue, shame you almost never hear them over all of them being dead before they get a chance to say it.

In Italian one of the marines said a joke about how to engage the enemies and the joke was incredibly specific about a comic trio’s movie from early 2000’s and that got me off guard

I'm going to miss Joe Staten not voicing the grunts in the next re-campaign of Halo as he's going back to Microsoft, he brings such fun to their voices and dialogue lol. Especially the Grunt on the Banished Radio running commentary.

I still love it when all the enemies and marines bring up Craig the Brute

Favourite line of dialogue I’ve heard from any Halo game wasn’t even a game made by Bungie, lol. Halo Wars marines had this one line that was simply, “work hard, play hard, die young!”, and for whatever reason it stuck with me for a decade and a half.
