LOTS of problems with this recipe. The ice crystals are WAY too big and crunchy for real Italian ice, which should be just as smooth and creamy as ice cream/sorbet. PLUS you need to strain the puree to filter out any seeds (again, for textural reasons-- it should be super smooth and creamy.) Much better way to make at home is with a home ice cream maker which would break up the crystals constantly while churning.
