Structured Literacy and Balanced Literacy What's the Difference?

All teachers want their students to be able to master the skills that will ensure they are successful in reading in writing. While there is little disagreement on the goal, teachers can have very different beliefs about what the best ways to help their students accomplish that goal really is. We will learn about the two most common approaches to literacy instruction, how they differ, and what is the more promising means of preventing reading difficulties.
