Nintendo Direct E3 2021 Reaction... E3 Nintendo Direct could've been a let down, but did they STILL WIN 2021?! Tons of new Nintendo Switch news and new Switch games dropped today, but some of the Nintendo Switch leaks were totally off...and some like Metroid Dread were spot on. I think you should stop reporting leaks and rumors as news. It ends up making expectations exponentially high, near unrealistic. If you ignore all that stuff this direct was real good

To be fair, Pokemon has enough coming out soon to get their own direct later in the year.

But what I really wanted to say was we need to stop with leak culture and rumor culture. You can say 'take this with a grain of salt' all you want but the human brain still gets excited when it hears something it wants to hear. When you hear that something like a Zelda collection is rumored you can try not to get excited if you're a Zelda fan but it's something that you probably want and it only makes sense because they did the same thing with Mario. I just think this needs to be a lesson for everyone to stop trying to follow leaks and rumors.

Also, every year since 2018 people are convinced there's no holiday game after e3, and then one gets announced at the end of the Summer. There are a couple more games coming this year, don't sweat it.

this was the best direct of the switch era. Also, just because there wasn't AC news doesn't mean we're not getting an update this summer/fall. they know how many copies they sold. also also, BOTW2 was never coming out this year

My only criticism as a Zelda fan was that there were no other ports. Would have lived to at least see Windwaker on switch. Really hoping they announce more remakes in the fall!

this was a great direct if you ignore the leaks. I'm done with leaks now. Even if some end up being true, it just ruins the fun. Even if something comes true, like 2D Metroid it's just oh yeah, I expected that. Games will be revealed when they're revealed, no more getting hopes and expectations up for me.
