I had a friend explain the Kazuya trailer to me, so this is second-hand knowledge, but apparently Kazuya's backstory, his father threw him off a cliff and said that "if he was strong enough, he'd be able to climb back up." Kazuya's story in Tekken ends with him returning the favor and throwing him off a cliff. This comes back in Tekken 2 when Kazuya's father returns and once again throws him off a cliff, and this has been going back and forth ever since.

Saw Kazuya throwing people into the lava during the Tekken Smash trailer, and I feared it was going to lead to Among Us imposter for Smash.

So it's called metroid 5 because it's a direct sequel to fusion which is metroid 4


The prime games are basically spin offs

Watching them react to Mario golf again is totally worth watching the entire direct over.
