Thanks for the vid, Aussie. This was really helpful, as I'm in my first playthrough and in the offseason following a disastrous mid-season replacement to the garbage coach (Canadian Premiere League) they fired, and I'm getting at the contract negotiations for one of the few players whose contract is up and actually wants to stick around. :)

The only promises I make to players is send them on an intensive language course. I remember a few years ago I was trying to sign someone for Villa and he had a locked deal of play him as a wide centre back, a minimum release fee and something else - I spat out of my beer, looked at my screen again then cancelled the deal 😂

This game really annoys me sometimes have a player in national league asking for 30k a week contract when he’s only on 1.2k a week
