Great video once again Coach Roan! One tip I am gonna mention, it was kind of in the video but I want to emphasize it: most clubs, actually more than most, have MORE players than you’ll ever use. As soon as you start to get rid of them, you’ll do yourself a favour. I’d like to plan my squads ahead, so I try to get the main squad down to 25 players, either 2 in every role with 3 extra jokers/youngsters, or 18 main players + 7 youngsters, something like that. Because I know myself, I’m a “hoarder” of players, I cannot stop myself to sign cheap young GOOD players, then I end up with tons of guys doing nothing.

could you do some videos on specific roles? i want my team to play and move certain style of play but i’m confused which player roles will actually do the job and where they’ll move on the pitch. For like F9 and DLF.

What I don't understand, I have £250m of debt. I have £150m in my transfer budget and £400k spare wages per week.

So why isn't there an option for me to say to the club "Take my transfer budget, and use it to pay off the £250m debt"

It just sits there. The board are not restricting money I keep from transfers. It's like my board are asleep at the wheel and I'm the only one in the club who cares about my future finances? I'm meeting FFP in Prem league (just about) but projected to fail for UEFA. I'm guessing this might happen at the end of a financial quarter? Which would be around December for me.

Great video. Question: How can I push the worth of a player. I had players with the worth of 10 Million and after I left the club they are suddenly worth 90 Millions. I don't understand the system behind it. Who defines the marketvalue?

Sorry Coach, you lost me with tip 4. If you're dumping your best players as soon as a good bid for them comes in, who's going to replace them? If you have little to no depth, it doesn't matter how much money someone offers you for a player. At that point, you're just being paid to suck. When I take over a team, I fire sale most of the first team (everyone over 25 goes) and replace them with the best youth players at the club and/or the best high potential youth players (aka wonderkids) I can acquire. I then keep acquiring young players, who I stash in my youth and under-21/23 teams, until the time comes to sell off another oldhead (again, no one on my first team squad can exceed 25 years old). I have the kind of depth where no one is untouchable, everyone is easily replaceable, in house. I did this with Schalke when FM23 released and in 2059, I've won 16 Champions Leagues in 36 years in the top flight, with $683 million in the bank and a $272 million transfer budget. Buy, develop, sell before age 26 is my mantra.
