4:10 That's not how you measure screen sizes. Those are measured diagonally.

8:32 The most efficient methods of transport cost too much and aren't safe and sustainable? What is the Tesla marketing team smoking? And their solution is "bus, but worse". Unbelievable.

Given my experience with the Tesla self drive feature, there is no way in hell I would take a ride in a Robotaxi!

Now, to preface this, I LOVE the autopilot feature…. But it’s nowhere near perfect. There are many MANY times that the thing will brake randomly, or will try to swerve because a new lane opened up. It definitely helps make driving easier, but you still have to pay attention and periodically take control went it does wonky things. It’s to the point where my wife won’t let me use it when she’s in the car because these minor glitches scare the shit out of her.

The full self drive, on the other hand, scared the shit out of me. It would do weird things at 4-way stops. Sometimes it would take forever to start moving at a stop sign, despite no other cars being around. It would randomly change lanes when I didn’t want it to. The system just didn’t in-still trust. It seemed very half baked.

Now take that half baked system and throw it into a car that doesn’t have any means of taking control in the event of the car behaving unexpectedly. That’s a recipe for disaster.

Straight up looks like the self driving vehicles in Minority Report.

8:33 you would need 54 robovans to match the capacity of an underground train. It’s just laughable that it’s a viable alternative. Just look at the efficiency of modern metro systems like the newly extended metro line in Sydney.

I'd never been in a car accident until last July when I got hit by a Tesla on auto drive.

People are asking what happened to the new Tesla Model 2 or 2.5.  I figured it out. The robotaxi was a cool car.
The front section is made from 1 casting. The rear section is made from 1 casting.
What goes on in between the front and rear can either be a 2 seater Robotaxi or a 4 or 5 seater Model 2.5 depending on the demand.
So the drivable car will be produced right along side the Robotaxi.   Using same main castings.  Just a different interior design.
Thanks for all of the work you do on Tesla.

This sounds like it'll be a good idea for Traveling to different cities. Depending if you can keep one for more than a day, get a Cyber cab instead of a rental.

BYD will sell it's version for less than $5, 000.00 dollars and with bigger screen, bigger car seats and a frig.

If your stuck in traffic for up to 3 hours in the RoboVan or RoboBus with 20 people on board it's going to need a bathroom like a Greyhound bus has.

1:43 Musk doesn't "say a prayer" ffs, he has both his hands up to show no driver controls! Says a prayer 🤣😂🤣

The Cybercab's doors should open straight up. As it currently is, it would hit nearby vehicles. It might 'see' the offending obstructions, but even then, it would keep the passenger inside.
The Cybervan has its own issue. It needs to be able to raise automatically, or it'll be damaged with every bump or pothole.
The biggest issue preventing a commonplace cab system is the lack of charging. Many charging pads need to be installed in common areas to keep the vehicles in service, otherwise they will have a limited area to be used. I've heard some talk of charging pads installed in public roads, but that could be a minefield to get approved considering who pays for the electricity charges.

I solely believe XAI88x will do 20x after its launch price, the hype is high and its community are not relenting.

Is it the case that these autonomous driving cars are programmed to not hit pedestrians, which implies that muggers can easily stop your robotaxi by stepping in front of it?

Slight correction, the Cybercab window buttons are in the centre armrest area. Excellent informative video, thanks.
