10 tough 2021 theory test questions on the documents topic

When it comes to taking your theory test in 2021 one topic which can catch people out is 'documents', this is because the questions do not involve understand but just pure knowledge of driving documents and insurance. When you have never owned a car before it gets tricky!

In this video I show you 10 of, what I think, are the toughest questions on documents in the DVSA question bank.

There are questions on types of car insurance, excess costs of said insurance, SORN'ing a car, MOT's and more.

On the real DVSA driving theory test you need get 50 questions, and you need to get at least 43 correct in order to pass, this is an 86% pass mark required, so to put that into context you need to get at least 9 of the questions on this video correct if you are to pass a DVSA theory test.

If you have owned a car for several years some of these questions may seem obvious, but remember those who take the theory test do not have this experience of owning a car, so please bear this in mind in the comments.

Got the majority right except the Sorn one and just to think 2 Years ago i 100% the theory test questions on test day!
This is why I remain subscribed to channels like Driving Crawley, Always good to keep up to date on changes to the rules etc :D

Insurance excess sweet spot seems to be around £500 I have found when it comes to insurance renewal, anything beyond that the savings are not a massive difference.
As a side note for all the new drivers out there you really do only have to pay a stupidly high premium for the first two years as insurance treats everyone the same after that point and base it pretty much on no claims only.
I only found this out because I was looking up insurance for me and for my mum on her car as well and mistakenly left her no claims at 2 years (which is mine) and the difference between mine and hers was about £20 where i had been driving for 2 years and she had been driving for 20.
Experience means nothing to them robbing swines!

Driver 32yrs, I got 8/10. Did'nt know about unlimited Insurance fine (frankly you should not be driving without insurance ever, no excuse). Also did'nt realise you have to take your whole theory/practical if you get the 6pts in first 2yrs. That's seems a little harsh?, maybe the practical or case by case based on the nature of the penalties, i.e drink/drug driving very bad!, run a red light less so?.
