Thanks George! i actually had a car wash rip off one of these that was loose on my truck and it was a real pain to find a replacement part. Now I can repair the other side before it happens again.

Hey man, quick question. My entire outside trim got ripped off during a storm we had. I’m going to try this method. Do you think I should apply it on the back of the trim that came off or apply it to the car and then put the trim on it?

I have just installed some chrome molding with 3M backing double-sided tape to the bumper. Some with shape curve don't see well. Can I use those to touch up on those loose area? However, I might need to swap a new molding after a few years. Are those 3M glue easily cleaned and removed without damaging the paint?

Why not just use the automotive double-sided 3m tape? I have a trim piece that the car wash ripped off...i was going to use the automotive 3m double-sided tape.
