Testing 'As Seen On TV' Products

I decided to try and test all those horrible as seen on tv ads for a video. Here's how it went.

A lot of “as seen on tv” products are aimed toward people with disabilities, the elderly, and/or people with mobility issues. I guess that if they market it to a more general audience, they may make more sales than if they catered to a certain demographic.

That said, I have chronic illness and arthritic pain in my wrists/hands… I don’t cook much, but an electronic can opener like that has been super useful.

My grandparents ALWAYS fell victim to these as seen on TV things like the tornado can opener and one of those vibrating exercise machines

If you see as ad seen on tv product and you think to yourself, "who the fuck needs that?, " or "that's so lazy", odds are it's really meant for a disabled person ( a good example from your video would be the foot scrubber) . I don't know why they even try to Market some of these things to a bigger General audience. I understand them wanting to make more money, but if they marketed it to the people that actually needed it, you would think that would be way more effective.

that wasn't the ear cleaner you ordered tho. the one you got is an irrigation type cleaner, the one on the site was a little vaccuum that sucked the wax out of your ear(which doesn't work btw, i once bought one and it does nothing)
