Ninebot Max G2 Battery & Firmware Notice:
- Firmware: The speed is defaulted to 32 kph. To go 35kph, you will need to change it to 35 kph in the Segway Ninebot app by clicking on “Custom Settings of Sport Mode”. Another thing to note is when you go 35 kph in sport mode, the range will be affected (reduced due to higher power consumption).
- Battery: The battery on the Ninebot Max G2 won’t charge if the vehicle temperature is high, so you’ll need to wait until the internals cool down (this is to prevent damage to the battery). Once battery is below about 50%, the firmware will reduce the maximum speed down to about 30kph to protect the battery and extend rideable range.
- Disclaimer: This information may change if there’s any firmware updates (firmware is current as of July 2023).**
