2 Baby Seals Rescued From Entanglements

Показать описание
In this well coordinated Cape Fur Seal rescue, Naude and Antoine from Ocean Conservation Namibia chase down 2 youngsters at the same time.
Naude manages to grab a young male seal with a piece of white cotton string around his neck. It's not a big entanglement, but something like this can still cause major damage to these animals.
At the same time Antoine chases down a bigger female pup with a white plastic packaging strap around her neck. This pup is strong and quite aggressive, so Antoine decides to wait for Naude to finish and come to help.
Once Naude arrives, they decide it's probably safest to fetch the net, instead of risking one of them getting bitten again. Antoine returns soon with the net and they cut the strap and the seal is happily on her way again. 🦭
