A rally was held Friday to stop the relocation of homeless families living in a Midtown hotel. As CBS2's Natalie Duddridge reports, the decision was made so a group of homeless men recently displaced can move in there instead.

Wouldn't the upper West side tenants have their rent reduced substantially because this would devalue the real estate in the area? Doesn't this impact resident safety to some capacity?

I feel them in every way? My apartment was evacuated because of an electric fire? We where placed in hotels temporarily? But there where problems? But we made it until we moved back too our apartments?

It’s very unfortunate and we know exactly who are the people complaining. If families are there just trying to get their lives together I don’t understand what the issues are and it’s literally mostly businesses in that area smh
