How altitude sensor saved my DJI Mavic Mini

A "lost signal" and a phone restart occured during DJI Mavic Mini flight followed by a strange unintentional drop of altitude 1m above water. I suppose it was ABOVE water and not INTO water just because the altitude sensor kicked in. A very strange behaviour by DJI Mavic Mini that nearly cost a total loss.

That made me so anxious 😅it looked like it was about to be submerged into the water.I am glad it was safe in the end. I make videos with a mavic mini as well and it is good to know that the altitude sensors are so good

Often, the Mini's downward sensors can become confused over water....you were lucky! You could have been swimming!
