only in fallout 3 would you lose karma for saying an actually reasonable statement in this scenario, “i don’t have time for this” is fine to say in the depths of a heavily irradiated and FEV-laden super mutant infested vault, looking for a device that needs to be found quickly.

Is curious how in the original dub, Fawkes speaks with some drops of madness like every other super mutant, but in the spanish dub he sounds like a poet, very eloquent and not a single sign of madness.
Anyway he's my favorite companion from Fallout3 i always save him from the vault

I honestly always liked the way the east coast mutants sounded.
There's something about the way they clearly can't control the volume or tone of their voice in most situations that makes them interesting

i remember that vault. i remember making it to the surface entrance only to discover it was fake. and you don’t need fawkes because the edge of the walls aren’t radioactive all the way through

the radioactive passages close to the GEK are supposed to either kill you, force you to eat a mountain of radaway, or ask fox. but the barrier that triggers that radiation isn’t perfect. in some spots if you hug the wall they aren’t radioactive making it a lot easier. from the shape of the the damage i’m guessing there’s three damage circles that trigger the radiation leaving 3 tiny triangles of safety on each wall

the “entrance” to the vault is supposed to be so radioactive and deadly even with every possible resistance you will die long before you get to it. i spent an hour chugging rad away every second until i finally reached the door only for it to be labeled inaccessible. i used the leftover tad away to discover the first fact.
