Cool thanks for the info. I'm not a plumber I am a sparky. Seen it before and like me they get the best of the best but for me 10 bucks just right it's getting time to replace our valve guess it's a cartridge type but the boys can do it. Thanks for the update hope all is well.

I have not done that much plumbing, with faucets and shower knobs.
...So This would be a good tutorial for me.
... My Father taught me some of it, but to be honest when replacing the hot, and cold, and shower, and tub controls. And soldering the copper pipes to it.
... there just wasn't enough room in the crawl space to see what was going on.
... i do understand what the tool does to remove the stems and rubber washers. Then reinstall them.
... i hope i got that right.

I wish i could find a usa made or older set of tub wrenches. I got the brasscraft set too have yet to use them just no need to bring an extra set to work. But they are kinda thin unlike the old sets and mine are a little mishapen. Like i said never been used not once. But ive seen huskys work fine and what not.
