Troy, Illinois widow mourns loss of husband who was missing since April

An Illinois man who has been missing for several months was found dead Sunday night, according to the police.

Sorry, but how do you not know your own husband is dead in your house for so long? Also, how horrible did that house smell to not notice a dead decaying body smell? Years ago, a town near me had a dead body in a car and people on the whole street smelled it. Strange story.

Very horrible. News report previously said Police had checked her home with K-9 dog after he went missing? Right after he went missing so no strong odor then. Later news article said due to cold temperatures, body was so cold frozen it did not omit odor. Still find it hard to believe even early on K-9 dog and Police could not detect, his body left in house. Strange and truly sad. Also, maybe his widow does need financial help by what she said. Maybe people who know her directly can set up a "Go Fund Me" page if she does need support. Sorry.
