What breaks my heart is to watch non-Americans appreciate our culture, history, & freedoms more than Americans. Thank you for your love & respect, appreciated more than you know.

This was written about my brother-in-law's son Pat. A beautiful song. Trace always honors veterans.

Our son will never know his grandfather, who is buried at Arlington. He was first generation American from Swedish parents. Thank you for your tears and for your respect.

My father is in Arlington. WW2 veteran. Bronze Star and Purple Heart at age 23. Fought the Nazis in Germany.

My dad was a Marine. My brother too. I was in the Army and served during Desert Shield/Storm. My brother was killed in a terrorist attack, and is buried at Arlington. It is a peaceful, beautiful place, but the thousands of white crosses are heartbreaking. RIP Billy.

My grandfather was a WW2 veteran, he told me when I was teenager he said "I gave my today's for your tomorrow's." I live that to this day, and joined. Freedom isn't free.

Trace Adkins said he rarely sings this in concert because he doesn't want the song to be disrespected. Such a wonderful tribute. Arlington Cemetery is an amazing place.

I appreciate the fact that you are sitting there crying over a video of our fallen veterans so very much. Thank you so much for your respect. You two are so awesome. ❤

Trace performed this song at the state fair in Washington State for a couple who brought the photo of their deceased son who died a warrior. They lived in Arlington, Washington 😢

I had the privilege of seeing Arlington last fall. Due to severe back issues, I was unable to do any walking around, but my gosh, what a beautiful and revered place. When I get back up there, I'm going to walk and visit. I had goosebumps from first sight. Thank you for sharing this incredible song and your reactions.

I am from a US family of soldiers. Fortunately, none of us were buried in Arlington but every year we have our family reunion and visit Arlington and give flowers to soldiers who has no family to make it there

My brother, John, was a door gunner on a helicopter in the Vietnam war. His helicopter crew saved six men from an Air Force C1 30, that went down an enemy territory. He was not recognized for the heroism at the time, but received the Silver Star, 45 years to the day after the rescue. He will be buried in Arlington Cemetery. Only the highest decorated soldiers go to Arlington.

My Grandfather was a combat medic in WWII and I have two uncles who were killed in Vietnam, all buried at Arlington.
Thank you for your respect to our fallen.

Thank you for respecting my country so much.. tearing up.. cause I'm flat out crying every time I hear this.. I appreciate this reaction. I'm from the state of Delaware in America.. most of our fallen soldiers come into Dover Delaware Air Force Base... I cry every time I see a casket with our flag draped on it.. I hope every other country fighting for freedom feels the same about their fallen soldiers.

My son served in Iraq and has a dear friend buried in Arlington Cemetery. My dad served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and is buried in Dallas/Fort Worth Cemetery. So much respect shown to all who lie in both places. If you get the chance, read or watch about the military members who guard the Tomb of the Unknowns. They embody respect and nothing will deter them from guarding this sacred place. If you come to the US and can do so, I encourage you to go to Arlington Cemetery. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been.

The scene at the Tomb of the Unknowns makes me teary-eyed.

My grandpa, who passed in 2014, served in the Vietnam while in the Army, Panama, Desert Storm and Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti while in the National Guard, and as a civilian contractor he went to Iraq and Kuwait. He was also Purple Heart recipient(meaning he was wounded in combat for those who aren't American or don't know) from his time in Vietnam. Because of his service he is buried at Arlington. I went with my family and saw the ceremony, he got the 21 gun salute and everything. We also saw the Tomb of the Unknown soldier, my family saw the changing of the guard, I was sick that day so I didn't. It was a bittersweet trip for the lack of a better term. Miss you Papa.

You’re not “just a Swede” — you are a human being that recognizes and is appreciative of the sacrifice. Love you both! 🥰 🇺🇸 😘
