US, China should prioritise dialling down temperature to prevent worsening of relationship: Tharman

Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said the US and China need to prioritise dialling down the temperature to prevent a further worsening of their relationship. Speaking at the World Economy Summit forum in Washington, he explained that doing so will help both sides work together on global challenges. Mr Tharman also spoke on how international financial institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund can help reduce polarisation and create projects of common interest to the US and China.

The same happened during the Song Dynasty.
China was Invaded, conquered and ruled by The Mongolian for almost 90 years entirely and 200 years partially.
The Genghis Khan and his fully enlarged, including Barely Mongol clans has less than 2 million Mongols in total. Song Dynasty have 200 million people as well.

History have proven once too often that China is easily conquered and Chinese can be ruled by impossibly small and inconsequential looking Invader for centuries.

The European Colonial Imperialist with just a few hundred troops have colonised huge swarths of China during the 19th- 20th centuries.
Including Manchuria( The 3 North Eastern provinces), Shandong, Mongolia, Shanghai, Canton, Hong-Kong, Macao, Taiwan etc for centuries.

Anybody can conquer and rule China easily, a sad but undeniable fact.

China should really concentrate on the Economic aspect of Development and not get itself entangled in this unwinnable Confrontation with Warmongering US.
