He who hears and does is like a man who built his house on a rock… he who hears and does not builds his house on sinking sand. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit and vice versa.

The Incarnation of the Word surely demonstrates that works necessarily follow faith.

What blinds so many “Christians” that they can not see that the true Church has always been the Orthodox Church? I say this as a former Roman Catholic who when first exposed to Orthodox Church immediately saw both the historical as well as the spiritual connection…

Faith without works is dead, but works without faith are also dead.

Anything that you have has been a gift given to you anyway, so you merit nothing of your own.

“And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
St. Clement of Rome
First Epistle

I think that all the problems with non orthodox Christians come from the misunderstanding of the word “Faith” and “Salvation” . Please Father make a video, or suggest us if you already have done one, that explains how from the early church until today, Orthodoxy ( the Holy Fathers) defines those two words. Your blessings 🙏🏻

Titus 3 KJV
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 4 KJV
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Ephesians 2 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I remember a beautiful saying of a modern Orthodox Saint ( I am not sure if was St. Paisios) I will try to paraphrase it because I don’t recall the exact words. whatever good deed he does counts 0 and he is doing as many 0s as he can so when Christ which is the number 1 be placed in front of those 0s, all these 0 will count in Christ. That’s the Orthodox idea of faith and deeds. You ought to do those in Christ so our faith in THE ONE (Christ) with not be a dead faith

We learn james 2:17 in my very Protestant church every day we just don't believe and are not taught that we enter heaven because we work we believe we work because we believe.

Is it possible to be in the Church, the Living Body, if you are an ecumenist?

But it seems we must bear side by side as wheat to tare. Until our Lord returns to divide us. This in no way means we can be united to them or they can be united to us.

Except we fall back into death and delusion this absurd world unity in spirit simply cannot happen.

I grievously fear for our brothers and sisters tempted by this great evil.

Saint Paisios pray for us!

u ignore the canons as well though father, like the ones from Nivea saying the church accepts the baptism of Heretics who baptise in the name of the trinity. Also the canons of the second council of carthage say this and so do a plethora of saints. Instead i choose to ignore these and take the cultism position. Why do u reject what became a consensus of the church and what Pope saint Stephan said was an apostolic tradition? u are confused about the boundaries of the church
