This doesn’t sit well with me. So fans can protest at a live concert for a band being friendly with another band but can’t protest against the demands their labels put their ‘idols’ through??? Make it make sense.

Sounds like k-pop fans need to come back down to earth and realize these are human beings that deserve love, relationships, etc. Depriving people of love is cruel.

All of this sounds so horrible, not worth the fame. But they signed the contract so... 🤷🏽‍♀️

K-pop fans are scary...I get that all these limitations are sad but nearly all of them go back to the same reason-THE FANS! It honestly sounds so toxic to let fans be THIS controlling over someone’s life. Anyone’s life really. I don’t understand how this stuff is okay and acceptable. I don’t think I’ve heard of any other fandom with as many toxic fans as K-pop does. Would love to see K pop stars be able to do what they wanted without so much of their lives being controlled by their fans :(

K pop guys are so good looking! I've only watched dramas, but it's a pity such good looking people can't date.

I appreciate the discipline that they have to follow but the management can at least afford them to go on vacations and have fun together and why can't they date and get married? They are human beings afterall. And how can fans be so ruthless and not expect them to date? They are not really our oppas. As fans we should be more than happy if they date, get married, have kids and live a peaceful life. This video is an eye opener. Seriously. I'm feeling so disappointed right now.

So the slave trade is alive and well in the Korean music industry then.

I feel so bad for k pop stars. They need to get better management people who put them first. And stop playing into the toxic fans who can't see the harm that's happening.

I don't know what's worse... being a Disney Kid star or a KPop star.

Some really do make sacrifices. I mean BTS won’t be BTS if they didn’t abide by the rules. That’s why I really feel bad for them. There are somethings you have to give up and somethings you gain.

Why are they supposed to be so squeaky clean (in real life) when they dress trashy and dance even trashier... let them live it, too, if they are pretending to do so anyway. And the fans sound even sicker. Once some American lawyers visit over there, they will realize a lucrative market, where these kids are being exploited and lawsuits may start...

They knew what they are getting into, it is not management's fault,
Management has bills to pay too, and yuh know yuh don't need to be in the pop business, to live in the gym, to diet, etc to paste yourself with makeup,
Everybody goes thru that, everybody, every day of their lives,
All over the world,
People diet themselves to death, every body does it,
There are many people who would not buy food, not even healthy food, just to be able to buy all the makeup, fake eyelashes, clothes, shoes, high heels, etc ok
So shut up,

I always knew that being a K-pop singer wasn't all that, but wow. Makes me wonder if being a J-pop singer is this bad.

If you wanna be famous so bad that you willingly sign yourself into slavery, I can’t find any sympathy for that. Maybe it’s just because I’m black but I personally will never be a slave to anyone or anything for any reason.
