Side tip... Putting a weapon in your hands directly from your inventory will emit a sound that other players, if close by, will easily recognise. However!!...

Drop the weapon on the floor first. Then put it in your hands from the floor.. there is no sound attached to this action.. any nearby players will assume you are still empty handed if they're listening..

best used in a situation where you have already made a noise, like eating something. Then do the silent switch. They will assume you have finished eating and remain empty handed.

On consoles, you can also quickly refill mags by having loose bullets in inventory, equipping the mag in your hand, and holding Y/triangle. Very useful for 30-75 round mags.

There are a few windows in the other police station model that you can climb out of in case you get stuck inside with someone camping the exits. Haven't played in some time tho so idk if they fixed that yet but if not its one of the best rather unknown life saving bugs in the game

if you ever see dead zombies someone is most definitely nearby zombies take 6 minutes to despawn without players nearby
