Good video, For a tip with cattle and buffalo, a dog needed to be chained up by the house out of the way not making noise and cause issues. We always had to chain up our dogs when loading cattle. Extra noise and shooting in to nip the cattle or buffalo hooves make all anxieties raise with extra yelling at the dog. So keep the dogs safe chained up by the house under a tree far out of the way and not to be heard.

IMHO As we all learn, dogs have no place when working bison. They get the animals worked up quickly as they are considered a threat by the animals most of the time. Just a suggestion may not be a bad idea to lock up the dog.

Dunbar seemed to go into the trailer easier than the girls did😂 I’m so glad Dunbar is at the Ponderosa. Can’t wait until you fill us in on the big changes. I know that it’ll be awesome! Those close ups of Dunbar in the trailer is so cool.

Not gonna lie, seeing Dunbar at the big ranch brought tears to my eyes. Once Elenore is there it will be complete. Your 'warm welcome' is exactly how we integrate beef cattle to our herd. Any new animal, especially bulls, get penned in a corral for at least a week to become accustomed to us and the land. There are numerous horror stories about cattle jumping fence and running away, never to be found if pasture released. On release day, we feed the big herd away from the corrals so they aren't at the gate to fight the newcomer and it goes a lot smoother.
