As a spurs fan, I can say with no hesitation that Bale in his first stint was the grestest player we've ever had at the club. He wasn't just good. He was devastating. If he was on the pitch, no game was truly over. You always knew he could get the ball in their half, go on a tear, and rifle a 24 yard shot top bins. He was also INSTRUMENTAL in RM's champs league runs. Everybody always gives CR7 and Benzema the credit, but without Bale they wouldn't have at least two of those crowns. Yes he was injured a lot, but he still scored more goals for RM than Zidane did in the same number of matches. They should hail him as an all time great of their club.

I personaly love bale and never doubted what he was capable of, i had so much respect for zidane until he started managing real madrid, he may had massive fittness issues but when he was fit he didnt even play him as much as he should have and same goes to james rodriguez. I always wanted them at old trafford and seeing them being wasted at real madrid really made me turn on zidane even though he acomplished a lot with real madrid, he could have won trebles if he used his squad depth more and he came to an already super strong squad so i really dont rate him as much as anybody else, i mean ffs he almost made bale quit football to be a golf player out of lack of gametime. I wish he never left tottenham even though he would probably destroy us(manchester united) every game. Imagine him with thecl final tottenham side against liverpool along side kane and son, that would top liverpool's trio and make them all look like a bunch of plebs
