Neymar, Gareth Bale, Hazard, Ribery, Suarez.. so many players that could’ve held the throne for the best on the planet during the Messi-Ronaldo, but the the brilliance of those 2 stood out in a class of their own and no one was ever going to overtake either of them during that time. I wish and I hope some of us did, appreciate the level of talent and greatness our generation got to witness and watch at the peak of their powers. I will never take those years for granted.

Very special player at that time in his career. It's probably the best I've ever seen, an absolutely incredible player. Watching him develop from a left back to just having a totally free role in a Spurs shirt was a special time watching bale for me.
