Samsung's Galaxy A35 is the second-most expensive Galaxy A series phone, sitting behind the Galaxy A55... but I reckon it's better value than the Galaxy A55 is... but still maybe not the phone that's best for you to buy right now. Here's why.

Bought an A35 for it's security updates. Samsung are offering a £50 rebate and my old phone is worth £85 recycled so it makes the A35 seem fairly cheap. The screen is great, rest of it much of a muchness. I'm happy with mine.

somehow my phones screen completely died when I dropped it while sleeping, the A35 looks pretty decent for 300 euros

Hey Alex, I have just come along your review. It is really great! I am just wondering whether to buy an A35 or A55. Pricewise, the difference between these two is 100 AUD in my country (Czech Republic). The price of the A35 8GB/256GB is the same as the A55 8GB/128GB. Would you recommend the 8GB version of the A35 or do you think the 6GB version might suffice? I am rather a light user, no gamer at all, I only use the camera and web browsing. However in the long term the 8GB RAM might be better ===> A55. I do not care about the storage because I am paying for the Google Drive.
Interestingly, according to many reviews, the A35 often shows slightly better photos than the A55. People say that the Exynos 1480 processor is not yet properly calibrated and the processing images is not that good although the camera HW on the A55 is a bit better. Do you think that Samsung provides us with an camera update? Thanks!

I think you gave an unfair assessment on the camera, just my opinion, especially as the majority of people adjust the originals in photo software before uploading to social media or photography websites

More like the Galaxy A54 2.0 with a cheaper price tag, 😂
since it's literally just transplanted into the A55 shell and with that comes a bigger screen so all W for the consumer.

Based on the videos I watched so far I found out:
The A55 has sharper and natural looking photos
The A55 has slightly better looking night photos & videos
The A35 has sharper, more natural looking selfies and slightly better battery life
Both have good stabilization and audio when recording video and equally good speakers.
For an everyday phone The A35 is 90% similar and with what you get with the A55.
Would you agree with these? (As I'm planning to get one in next 24 hour) Cheers.

no its not. ultrwide cam way worse. main cam also worse. processor weaker. in a few months the a55 will be under 400 bucks.
