Is this the unlocked version? And can you turn off the 5G in preferred Network settings? Because 5G in my area is a little spotty and sometimes LTE works better. AT&t branded phones lock the preferred network settings so you cannot turn off 5G. Also I noticed you did a review on the Motorola stylus 5G 2024 can you turn the 5G off on that phone as well, because I'm interested in this phone or the stylus phone.

I have owned A54 for about a year 8Gb 256G + 512G ext memory card. All works well esims work great. Cannot see a reason for upgrading at this stage

I am currently on Verizon but the person whose plan I am on might be switching us to T-Mobile soon. I am currently using the Galaxy S21 which obviously has some more features than the A35 does, but are there any key differences say between these two phones? I think a 400-dollar price tag for a phone that also offers expandable storage is a bonus at least for me(I wish the Galaxy S21 had 256 gigs of storage instead of 128 but I have managed so far). I would be one of those who prefers a midrange phone for 400 to 500.00 instead of the higher end phones that cost 1, 500.00. What do you guys all like about the A series phones? I am certainly considering this one, and would be coming from a Galaxy S21, which also has been good for the most part.

I have an a 54 bună I also got from work an A35 with my business number so i put my personal number into the new A35 and besides the size I think think they are the same in terms of an normal day to day user

samsung ui filled up so much storage space.
and this phone charging speed is lower than nowadays standard.
no charger and screen protector either so you actually will spend much more than the price suggest.
overall its a solid pick, but if you can let go samsung one ui, theres many better offer out there.

Is the plastic frame painted?
I've got the issue on my A50 that the chrome blue is chipping off, showing (in my opinion) a much nicer plastic blue beneath.
But because the whole thing is not coming off, it looks really ugly.

I'm waiting for tracfone to get it and Lower the price to 299. And during the holidays, it can get lower than that. Plus 4 years of updates.

You don't get a charging plug or headphones in the UK either. It's all about the companies making you pay for these now, not included.
