basically the way these work is there is pigment in the foundation base that breaks up and distributes through the base as you rub it. the color of course is predetermined and will never “adapt”.

they don’t “adapt to your skin tone” in any sense. all it does is have itty bitty ampules of pigment that break when you rub it in. same with those tinted moisturizers that say the same thing. it’s just a marketing phrase they use to get away with making something in only like 1 or 2 shades, usually being white and white 2.0 (orange)

Yeah I’m pretty sure that there are these tiny balls in the makeup that just makes the cream stuff go to a certain shade and I think you have to by different shades of that stuff and I don’t think they have black skin tones (sorry if I’m wrong)
