Apple just released iOS 17.5 Beta 4 to registered developers and soon (within the next 24 hours) to Public Beta testers.

FYI: There's a new feature added in Beta 4 called Repair State. This will allow repair technicians to bypass Stolen Device Protection when you send in your phone. I will demonstrate this on Saturday in Apple Weekly 👍

Alarms weren’t working before on iPadOS I’ll have a look but my iPad has no faceid

2:38 i had this problem months ago. i charge my phone with a wireless charger while its face up and if i had this option turned on, my alarm would be on the lowest volume setting, but turning it off fixed it.

For the alarm clock, Attention Aware has affected the alarm for years (can't believe people are just realizing that), and I've personally had that setting turned off for years because I realized it affected the alarm clock way back when. This recent bug occurs whenever you set multiple alarms, basically if you let the initial alarm ring and then don't snooze it before the second alarm starts, that second alarm and any one past that will not make a sound whenever you finally hit the snooze button for the first one. It has happened for months now and it has taken me months to figure it out because I'm always half asleep when it happens lmao, I put in a ticket with Apple about a month or two about it though, good to hear they're working on it

I'm not on any beta; I'm on version 17.4.1. There's one bug that doesn't occur very often, but it happens, and that is the sleep mode on my iPhone. I use it every day because I sleep with my Apple Watch, and it dims it completely at a certain time and stops notifications, which is the whole purpose of using the sleep mode. However, sometimes the sleep mode will not start even though I have it scheduled to start at a certain time. Even if I restart my iPhone, it will not start the sleep mode automatically, even though it's time for it to be on. I have to activate it manually from the control center, which is not a good solution because the watch will stay in sleep mode until I manually take it off. Do any of you have the same problem?

There is this bug while watching videos where there’s an overlay on bright scenes and dark scenes it’s annoying it’s from the 3rd beta and it’s still there on the 4th beta

The only issue that I keep seeing is with Siri Suggestions. I’ve turned them off, but still get notifications for Siri Suggestions on the Lock Screen.

Yeah my alarm volume wasn't, and still isn't working. My work-around is using the alarm in the Sleep App. The alarm volume works great there.
