Ford is calling this mustang the most track focused gt ever. It all began in 1969 and after a few years the Mach 1 went on hiatus until 2003 and 2004. And now its back baby!
This is not just a fancy looking GT with 20 extra horsepower. It is so much more and it makes a big difference in the mustang line up. So this video will list everything that makes this GT awesome!
So this car is cooler than your every day Gt. It has a larger radiator, engine cooler, transmission cooler and differential cooler. Also it is the real deal as the corner air intakes actually take in air and traditionally mustangs have swam in a pool of fake air vents. This is is Bottom high tech car that did not leave out a single detail, even the bottom lip redirects airflow down the sides for that extra little bit of aerodynamic high tech computer calculated advantage. This Mustang is the real deal and so much more than a 1 trick pony and I look forward to showing you why so please watch and be blown away and surprised at how great this car is. Now this video covers the handling pack Mach 1 and I think thst is a must and I will explain why. Also if you have a chance the Recaro seats really surprised me. So lets find out why Car and Driver called this a very fast track car.

Very well done, detailed review. Most people have been bashing the new Mach 1 because they don't know what has gone into this model at all. It's much more than a tarted up GT. It's an engineered and balanced performance car.

Great video, very detailed and lots of info, and thanks for showing the car coming off the truck. Didn't know about the spacer blocks in the suspension, hopefully dealers remember to remove them lol.

traded my 2018 gt for jet grey, im impressed its very responsive, very beefy. love the exhaust, its like the mustang ive always wanted just wished they put 5.2L instead of the 5.0 bump up the hp to 505 but ovr still a phenomenal car

Shaker is missing because of DOT safety recertification work is costly and time taking.
Basically if you come out with a NEW hood as a manufacturer, you must provide crash test to show it crumbles properly and will not enter in cabin and decapitate driver/passenger
( in case of crash) .
That cost a lot of money in RD and manufacturing resulting even a higher price and delays manufacturing.

Got my Fighter Jey Gray Mach 1 and love it! One question though, what/how can I use the front facing camera mounted to the rear view mirror. I can't find anything in the manual/internet/Ford customer service. Maybe there will be an app for it

It's glorious...but the colour? Would fade into pavement. Maybe red or blue. But i would take it if donated. 😊

If you are not going to track this car and want it for just the street and the highway, you most probably do NOT want the handling package. It will cost you additional drag (and thus gas mileage) and significantly higher tire maintenance.

I’m not tracking it and I thinking of buying a Mach1 without the HP. It’s the same as this except for no HP. Adjust for street use but still better value than a GTPremium?

Do, you think this Mach1 without the HP is better than a GT Premium? I reserved a 2023 Mach 1 without the HP with a Tremec and the elite ok and Mach1 appearance ok I. This same color combo with the comfortable standard seats in leather. It’s $63 MSRP.

Very unlikely you'll get a discount off the Mach 1, meanwhile it's easy to get at least another $3k discount on the GT. So that's a $17k price difference PLUS tax. If you are tracking your car every weekend, the added coolers and Tremec will be a huge benefit, but at that price it's better to just buy a low mileage GT350.

OH ya, the price difference for the above comparison in the US is only $5000 USD. Once again the Canadians getting the shaft.

Correct me if I am wrong but I was always under the impression that you shift down 1 gear at a time unless you coming to a full stop. Is that safe to down shift two gears at a time?
