Having bought one and driven one for some time now, in manual/Recaro format, I can say that you're right, Joshua. Great car, instant classic.

The issue for customers is that the parts Ford left off were worth a lot of money (some estimate >$10k!) and Fords offer of 3 free services was forth less than $1k plus a Special Mach 1 Track day that Ford to date has not been able to confirm any details for. Given that a track day is around $500 dollars, the total compensation is far from the value of the missing parts that were promoted. And yes Ford left off the parts but didn’t drop the price customers payed for it. Ford also didn’t notify customers of the excluded parts prior to delivery, online forums discovered the missing parts and the complaints began!

Final drive ratio means the rear axle ratio. What you mean to say is that that 5th gear. Is direct (or 1:1) rather than overdrive.
