Did you move your black bench into the "bump out area" just to sit and see if thats the view you'd like? Id have to sit in both locations to see if one placement feels better over the other. I liked the idea of straight with the beds because I thought your view would get cut off by the plantings if it were set back too far.

I like to do the majority of my cleanup in fall also. I like to see it neat and tidy through the winter. I feel like I’ve put my gardens to bed while I have my winters rest and I’m not thinking about the mess and all the work I have in the spring. Just makes me feel better❣️

Please keep the perfect simplicity of the new quadrants. Adding another pathway and two MORE benches is overkill and distracting. Two benches next to the Hartley and now two more benches by the quadrants? How many people are ever going to be in that area?

This video reminds me that I've been making the right decisions with my garden by keeping annuals and perennials to a minimum. I love my conifers and evergreens and I don't mind deciduous shrubs. No such thing as a maintenance free garden but I'll do what I can to keep it as low as possible so that I can sit back, relax and enjoy it! I already have a full time job.
