When William is tired of making the child trap look child-friendly so he gets straight to the point:

You know what detail unsettles me the most? The lack of eyelids. Many animatronics in FNaF do have them, but them lacking here really adds to the unsettling factor of them, as they are always looking

The way they "move" - that twitching, jerking, limp attempt at locomotion and articulation... it perfectly evokes what it must be like for a ghost in a machine. They _want_ to move. But it's hard. It's so hard.

A weak listing spasm that accomplishes nothing. Not enough force.
A sudden, mechanical jerk. Too much force.
And the slow, grinding movements... the focus. For brief moments, they can hold enough attention and focus to what they're doing to make very small movements smooth and controlled.

But none of it looks alive, no matter how much they want to be such.

The creepiest thing to me is how you captured their movement. Really brings the power into the "possessed robot" concept, the way their movement is halted and weak, like the soul is hindered by the husk they're possessing, which is all but hollow of mechanisms

These videos made me realize two things.
1. This guy is an awesome YouTuber and modeler
2. I would unironically watch a 40 minute documentary describing the design of the FNAF animatronics like they were real.

Honestly this makes more sense than the “actual” designs. If the robots are going to be obscured by the illusion discs 99% of the time, there’s no reason to really polish them, add joint covers, etc.

I literally watch this monthly, and still can’t get over the part at 1:35 where it shows a human hoping out of the chest cavity. This is just so amazing and truly a work of art

The most eerie part is the fact you could totally imagine it holding a child, the teeth-like ribs acting as a cage is terrifying to me

I haven't read the books but the way you brought these characters alive, while keeping them as this menacing thing, makes me want to read all of the twisted ones books

The little clicks of gears, the clacks of plastic and metal, and the whirring of motors. Entirely unneeded, but you took the time to add them anyways. Impressive!

The worst part is that it looks and sounds real. I think the scariest is Freddy due to how human-skull-like and droopy the eyes look. He looks like he's almost scared, but his eye sockets are too big for his eyeballs so he just has this constant skull-look to him.

Amazing work, Nick

The slow look at the camera (1:14) was perfect dude! I would watch an entire series on just models of the animatronics as described by the books/games

It’s funny how whenever people try to draw the twisted ones they look like the nightmare animatronics, yet looking at these alongside their descriptions it just is obvious that this is as close as we’re gonna get to seeing what they actually looked like.

I think what makes these versions so terrifying is their sorta.. Color pallete being a very much paler, almost Skin-like color. Another reason why they're much more terrifying is how hollow they look, with the original animatronics they looked like they were filled with machinery. With this? They feel.. empty, cold, waiting to grab you and put you inside.

They don't feel like they're ment to entertain, just attack, collect, and Dispense.

It's incredible how your design is so much simpler compared to the other ones.

But it's much MUCH more creepier.

The TSE triology is horribly underrated in the fandom these days
I'm so glad you're making these, they look absolutely unreal

This is honestly more terrifying than the actual 'twisted' look they're illusioned to be
Because this version is very real in that world, and this version looks like something out of a nightmare

I adore this video so much

As someone who loved the Twisted ones that in itself makes me want to like this video

The style of the models is very threatening, this video in itself gave me the creeps. The small ticking and metallic noise gave an alluring feeling of something just waiting to happen. Like a ticking clock if you will

The lighting is beautiful, now overly complex but very pleasant to the eye.

Overall amazing models and on spot with the small details!

I think the Twisted Ones are the base prototype models for the Funtime animatronics’ feature to hold people inside of them, as these ones are less refined than the Funtime’s way of getting their capture secure in the designated area.

I love the animation work here alongside the modeling.
They capture a perfect sense of uncanniness that a lot of the mainline animatronics don't, and part of it is down to the fact that they have a distressing visual redundancy; They look like soulless facsimiles of things that are already soulless facsimiles. They look like and are described as if they're what happens when you take Freddy Fazbear's gang and strip away anything meant to be cute or nice, because they're designed around using an artificially-generated hallucination to make them seem more appealing.

And without it, they're just these pale, hollow things that gawk mindlessly at things as they try to discern if it's a target or not.
