Best VanLife Shower and Bathroom (You've Never Seen One Like This...)

Having a full indoor shower and bathroom when you live in a van is definitely a luxury, but its one I wasn't willing to forego in my van build.

Showering at gym is the most common vanlife shower solution, but I knew there would be times when I wasn't anywhere near a gym I could shower at when i'm camping out in the wilderness, mountain biking or skiing. And an outdoor shower for ski season was out of the question...

But my biggest concern with putting a full indoor shower in my campervan conversion was the space. A shower takes up a lot of space in a van build and every inch is precious when you live in a van.

So this is the solution I came up with. I thought of a way to put storage in my shower when it's not in use that will automatically come out when the doors open so you don't need to do any extra work moving storage.

This design allowed to have my full indoor shower without sacrificing space. With this design I have my shower, a toilet/bathroom, hanging wardrobe for clothes, a full body mirror, clothes hamper, and a pantry for my spices all within the confines of the shower.

But to make sure things didn't get when I was showering I also installed the roll up nautilus rv shower screen door so that all the water would stay in the actual shower where I wanted it

Problem solved!

Now when the showers in use it opens up and keeps all the water inside (or acts as a barrier and privacy screen when I'm using the bathroom), and then everything neatly closes up easily.
