How to break a trailer hitch lock in one second

I lost my keys of my trailer hitch lock. So this is how I’m breaking it and installing a new lock that is cheaper and I believe better and harder to steal. Let me know what you guys think!

Oh man I just did this it took longer to take the pipe out of the shed great advice.

I was taught always insert the pin from left to right. The logic I was told was that if you had a failure of the clip, nut, etc that the crown of the road slanting slightly to the right to run off water would help keep the pin in.

I had to take a side grinder to mine today to get it off.

It didn't come off easy for me, so I just ended up beating the lock off with a hammer. Only took about one minute.

Mate, seriously, how is putting a bolt in going to stop a thief ? All they will do is undo the bolt ! 🙄🙄
