How in the hell do you not have more views/subs? I know its a niche topic but your presentation is absolutely perfect - you explain everything in clear, concise detail and follow it up with multiple examples.

I love the PC Speaker sound. It's the sound you'd expect a computer to make, well for a fan of lots of classic science fiction tv/movies. I usually stick with SoundBlaster in games, but for Wolfenstein 3D I found the PC Speaker to be cooler and more melodic sounding almost.

Thanks man. I always wanted to try Ultima Underworld with the Roland... and I gotta say, it sounds much better on the Sound Blaster.

I will share a Russian proverb in defense of the PC speaker. When there are no birds, the ass is a nightingale :) I played different games in the 90s, then I didn't even have to dream about a Soundblaster card.

The PC speaker *could* sound perfectly decent - just check out Pinball Fantasies (or the other Digital Illusions Pinball games).
