you should put solar panels on the Roof of the camper and charge spare batteries, and take it across the country. That's definitely something I think a lot of viewers would enjoy

Ditch the TV and bring a tablet or laptop with you instead. Use solar panel and 12V power. Also, use the tall end of the camper as a headboard to sit up/lounge on

We ended up loving our last micro camper so much that we made one for a bike! Hope you guys like the build!!

This is a really nice build! You could easily add about 200 watts of solar on the roof that could add some range to the e-bike / camper and a small power station to run everything inside without having to compromise the range. Using a CIGS type of solar panel would only add about 6 pounds to the camper weight. Great work!

Very cool. I woulda go with the aluminum frame. foam walls with glued 1/8 inch ply, then spray bedliner all to save weight. Other than that? Maybe an awning over the door? So you could sit in the door but be out of the rain. Solar on top? A tiny fold-out butane cooktop for coffee. a couple cuby's for phone n gear.
Just ideas. I'm sure you had your own! Too fun man! Way to go! Very nice build.

The trailer motors are a brilliant innovation! I hope commercial builders pick this idea up and start producing bicycle campers like this for sale. There needs to be a thriving bicycle camper industry.

You could do much more with this idea because a bike without assist can tow up to 300 pounds without much trouble. So, I think you should do another one, that's wider, with a pop out for the bed, a kitchen, a fridge, and a small composting toilet. The one I want to build is about 8 feet long, has a pop out for the bed, enough room for a small seating area and a kitchen, so it's definitely doable, especially if your ebike can tow in excess of 500 pounds.

This is the first video I saw that used motors to move a camper. Awesome idea. I'm going to incorporate that in my camper. Thaks for the idea!

If you do not want to weld, you can use aluminium struts with connectors and epoxy as glue.

10 mm Corrugated plastic would have been a better option for the entire cab. Strong enough for even the floor. Only issue with corrugated for the floor would be, it can be slippery when wet or dusty but that 44lb weight for the base would have been substantially lighter Nice job on the trailer and video either way.. Cheers.

You need to look into adding a dovetail to the back of your campers, it will reduce the amount of friction drag that will make these things easier to pull. Just a little lip on the back instead of a shear will do the trick.

I just built one...made it through an entire Canadian winter. I havent put motors on the camper yet, but plan to eventually. It does have solar, LiFePo battery bank, 12v oven and fridge, 12v heater, a desk...it is based off one of those bike trailers people put kids in, a steel tube bed frame, 1x2 lumber skeleton, and a foam laminate skin. Uses 20" sealed bearing bicycle wheels. I am still putting some interior trim pieces on it, but it is otherwise done. I havent tried it yet though. I did build a dual hub motor ebike based on a Trek MTB frame to pull it that has around 3000W of total power should I need it. I figured I would deck the bike out with motors first so when not pulling the camper I still have all that power and torque.

Amazing! Your bike camper looks so good! Best to keep it on the road, also amazing it can go way longer distances than your last one!
