“I was super short on time and i could barely make it” places camera on tripod for drive by shots about 10 times adding probably 20 mins to his journey 😂

If you want to make a sturdier version, you can make the next one out of fiberglass. Super tough and extremely light too

20 minutes of research would have saved dozens of hours of work. No helmet, no lights, no tools, no tubes, no test rides, and a very good "hold my beer" story :-)

The thing I love most about this vid is that you shared the whole process.... including the failure. So many make it all look so easy, so it's refreshing to see someone showing the bumps in the road (pun intended!)

The gate didn’t seem like too much of an obstacle to begin with lol. I thought it would have been much bigger. Idk seems staged at the end.. but good shit. You guys always work so hard.

You're back with another awesome video! You definitely deserve more recognition! I felt so bad when the first camper fell and then the campsite closed. Glad you could finish! 💞

Suggestion for an upgrade which I did to mine - solid tyres on wheelchair wheels, and hitch via the rear wheel axle on the bike rather than the rack position - this will stop it tilting the bike when cornering. I ended up building a monowheel trailer to fit on my motorbike instead though.

I don't know why, but I laughed at the tent too hard at 0:13

Yeah, you realized you wanted to build a new trailer so you dropped your old one in the ditch for more clicks. It was hilarious 😂

Awesome ending. I felt your pain the whole way. And when you shared your "rule", made it to the entrance, and was able to lift your camper over the gate I was super impressed. Bravo man!

Tip: take off and cushion the tv when traveling if you go on bumpy roads. This applies to normal campers too. I’ve broken 2 tvs on one road that was just slightly unpaved.

0:28 the flying tent was a nice touch!
In the future might be smart to bring a pump on a 50 mile trek! Could also put a spare wheel on the back if you plan to keep using it!

I have been planning to built something like this. Most content on this subject hide poor performance and failures. This video has been most informative. I will most definitely be adding power and breaking to my trailer. Thank you.

Drew builds stuff did this too (twice actually), and he did a really good job of making it lighter and more functional while going more in depth explaining it. Granted his was heavier, but I believe that both are really cool. He used aluminum for the base, made it wider, and used different waterproof methods, but had to have an external battery for his bike. If you ever do this again I'd recommend taking some inspiration from drew builds stuff. Both of you have really amazing builds that I'd honestly love to also try to make. Might sound weird that I'd want to make my own, but I feel like I'd love it all the more if I made it exactly perfect just for me.
