There is so much wisdom in this. I feel like the wise women of old were handing down this type of kitchen table psychology since the dawn of time. It applies to so many situations even outside of just romantic relationships also. This is just an excellent way of thinking that I feel most powerful women have an awareness of. A woman who is aware if her own power will use it. That doesn't mean she's manipulative in a "negative" way either because we ALL manipulate in life, that's just part of living. The very word manipulate means to shape a situation, and if you're shaping it, that means you've got a sense of control over a situation because you know how to navigate it. The only people who feel that's deceitful are the people who aren't smart enough to see the logic you're applying.
