How the Dodge Viper ACR Broke all the Records - APEX: 60

Показать описание
The Dodge Viper ACR is a legend of a car. Born from the Viper GTS coupe, it was a track-oriented machine made to go racing and chase down the expensive metal from Porsche or Ferrari. And it did.

More exotic than a Corvette but cheaper than anything from Italy, many saw it as America's supercar. In the late 1980s, Carroll Shelby and Bob Lutz convinced their bosses to build it. The goal was to make a modern Shelby Cobra. When the Viper debuted in 1991, people were floored. Then they made it faster, and faster, and faster.
