STORYLINE:
Russian authorities early Tuesday accused Kyiv of yet another attack on Moscow and its surroundings with drones, one of which hit a building in the capital that was damaged by a drone just days ago in a similar attack early Sunday.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in the early hours of Tuesday that it shot down two Ukrainian drones outside Moscow and jammed another, sending it crashing into a skyscraper in the Moscow City business district and damaging the building’s facade.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the drone crashed into the same building that was damaged in a similar attack early Sunday.

IQ-Quarter, located 7.2 kms (4.5 miles) from the Kremlin, contains the offices of several government agencies, including, reportedly, the headquarters of Russia’s Ministry for Economic Development.

Sobyanin said the Tuesday attack didn’t result in any casualties.

It wasn’t clear why the same building was hit twice in a row.

In both incidents, the Russian military said the drones that hit the skyscraper were jammed before crashing.

Some Muscovites reacted calmly to the incident, others said they were frightened.

If the Ukraine is behind this attack then it's justified. When you unjustly invade another country you can't be upset or act surprised when they defend themselves. How many thousands of ukrainian civilians have been murdered by Russian aggression since this war started?

Unfortunately those who profit from war seldom have to face their own lives being at risk. It's always the regular everyday people that pay the price. Russia stared this war, but many Russians are having to pay the price for Putin's hubris. Ultimately I feel more for the people of Ukraine but their is plenty of tragedy happening to normal Russian people as well. I hope for peace soon so Ukraine can start the long process of repairing their nation. I can only imagine the herculean amount of effort that will take.
